Pack 159 relies on fundraising efforts to fund the majority of our activities. The Annual Popcorn Sales event gives Scouts a chance to develop important skills that build character like public speaking, supporting a team, and time management. When you and your Scout go out into your neighborhood to raise money for our Pack, it deepens your connection to our organization and our community. And it's fun! Whether you're calling family about products, selling online, walking door-to-door or participating in a storefront, you'll have a great time watching your child sell Scouting and some yummy treats too!
Popcorn fundraising raises approximately 50% of our Pack's operating budget per year and is an opportunity to earn discounts on Annual Dues (BSA, Council & Pack fees). Dues will be credited/refunded for either $10 per Storefront Shift or 25% of sales + donations (whichever is higher). In addition, scouts can earn credit toward 2025 summer camp through the Pack after dues are credited!
